The Seeds of Happiness is a fun and engaging course, introducing primary-aged children to the science of happiness. Children will learn how they can positively impact their own happiness levels by the actions they take and also how to influence the happiness of others . Each lesson contains ‘missions’ for the children and teacher to carry out, where they take practical steps to improve their wellbeing. This is a great way to help you teach happiness in schools.

Study shows The Seeds of Happiness boosts pupil wellbeing and attitudes to learning!

A recent Pilot Study by researcher, Sean Callard, from the Faculty of Education at Cambridge University, looked into the effectiveness of the Seeds of Happiness course. The study showed:

  • Statistically signficant improvements in children's wellbeing compared to the control.

  • Improvements in wellbeing were sustained for at least 6 weeks after the course was completed.

  • Children who completed the Seeds of Happiness enjoyed the course and showed improvements in their attitudes to learning!
