Staff Wellbeing Course Highly Commended!

Updated: Nov 21, 2022

Teachappy’s online course, Staff Wellbeing & Self-Care in Schools, has been recognised as an outstanding resource by the prestigious Teach Secondary Awards 2022 with a Highly Commended in the category of Health & Wellbeing.

The online course, launched in 2021 for all staff working in schools, was designed by Teachappy founder, Adrian Bethune and teacher, author and coach, Dr Emma Kell. The course content is based on their best-selling book, A Little Guide to Teacher Wellbeing & Self-Care.

As teachers themselves the duo fully understand the challenges of the busy lives of educators and school staff. The course itself is designed to be short, practical and importantly, research informed.

Dr Kell said of the win:

“We’re so grateful that our course has been recognised in this way. Giving teachers and school staff proven tools to nourish their own wellbeing in a format that suits their busy professional lives is vital in order to protect the individuals who make up this glorious and noble profession.”

So far over 500 school staff have signed up to the online course with feedback from participants overwhelmingly positive:

"Certainly career changing, possibly life changing!" - Emma, Teacher

"Every person working in education should sign up to this course!" - James, Deputy Head Teacher

"Really enjoyed it! It felt like I was having a conversation with you both throughout." - Becky, Teacher

Individual licences cost just £19.99 with whole-school licences starting at £249.
